I know a bit off topic, but I will be taking another trip to Moab in the Spring and I am looking for a suggestion/recommendation on a place to rent ATVS. I have rented once and did not have a great experience. The machines ran great and no issues until we returned the machines. The shop holds your deposit until they have a mechanic do a quick check of the machines, which I understand. This normally will take a few hours, depending on amount of machines being returned. I received a call that there was oil in the air filter and they tried to tell me I rolled the machine and they were going to charge us $275.00. We never rolled machine and there was no sign of damage, but the mechanic kept trying to tell me the air filter does not lie. I told them I would not pay as it never happened. The manager went into his office and came back 5 minutes later, saying he checked his records and they must have missed checking this machine back in, on the last rental. I am pretty sure they were trying to scam me.

 

Who was this? My good friends own and run MTC (Moab Tour Company) Matt and Brandon own and Wade is the Mechanic. I hope this was not them as it does not sound like them. Ask for Wade and tell them Carl from Denver sent you. I worked with him for years and am still great friends with him.
