I'm the same way... but I've been looking into hitting White Rim this year because it's a little bit of adventure rugged terrain and scenic views. I might also do La Sal pass, it's supposed to be easy and scenic.

Hit me up via PM if you want me to give you some "easy" trails. I've been reading my new trail book like crazy and have found quite a few places I want to go this year.
