go all performance upgrades
Wheels, Tires, Nice Complete Lift Kit, Gears, Rear Bumper/Carrier - you already have decent axles and lockers so you can save there.

I wouldn't waste the money on "performance upgrades" like intake, exhaust, supercharger, whatever. It's a Jeep, not a sportscar. You can't do the performance upgrades required (Hemi) to make it worth it, for $5k... so I would just pass on them. The gears will get you back your driveability you might otherwise lose by going with bigger tires, etc.

Buy some Spidertrax wheel spacers and run your stock rims. Lot of people on here are running the spacers with stock rims and 35" and even some 37" tires. Then you can save yourself some cash on aftermarket rims.

I would start with,
Lift
Tires/rims
Regear, if it's not a ruby, add ARB lockers.

Then bumpers and a winch.
$5,000 can go a long way
what he said!

If you run 35s you will want to regear and trust me you will be glad you did. With the regear pick up a superchips programer also. Run your stock wheels with spacers use the wheel money somewhere else. And maybe even put a bigger lift on (4"). Reinforce your front axle and some skids. And then a nice rear swing bumper. It will look good going down the rode and perform great offroad.

The one thing I hope you got from this thread is to regear. It's not something you get to show off, but it's the one thing you will use everyday.

We don't even sell gears. So this isn't a sales pitch.

If it's auto I'd go with 5.13 and 35's. Everyone seems to live that combo

That's a toss up, I ran 5.13's with 35's. It had alot of power but was a little higher RPMs at highway speeds than I liked. I had planned to run 37's so now the gearing is perfect.
