35"s and a lift are a must! Everything else is preference. I went the stubby bumpers and lights route (Visual mods first, sorry I'm 21 can't help it). But it's all about your preference and what your going to use your rig for. Good luck!

I just dumped about 5200 in my. Xrc bumpers RC 3.5 mid arm. Bilstine 5160 in front 5100 in rear. X2o 10 winch drake latches, sounds like a lot of cash but in Jeepin terms, it's not much. Have fun.

Mine is still stock until I get a few things this spring but this is my list if I had $5000 to spend:

255/80r17 BFG KM2's = $1500
Kargo master roof rack = $800
2.5" AEV Lift = $950
ARB stubby bullbar = $600
Warn 8k winch = $700
On-board air compressor kit= $300
High Jack Lift = $80

I am into overlanding/expeditions so my choices reflect that.

Lift, wheels, 35's, atleast a front bumper, and depending if you want looks or funtional first, lights for looks or winch for functionality.

What size tires do you want to run? Are you doing the work yourself? What kind of wheeling do you do? Just throwing out a number and building a Jeep is how mistakes are made and parts are bought twice.

I agree with the post above me don't just spend the 5000$ just cuz you have it. Decided what size tire you are going to want to run first. I'd say most ppl choose 35" cuz you only need a 2" lift to run them on JK's. Then figure out what you plan on doing with your jeep as far as off roading is it your DD ect. Once you figure out these simple things money can be saved by doing everything "right" the first time and not regretting doing it wrong. Good luck!
