Default $5000 budget

Help me decide on the lift, wheels and tires. I want a 3" lift with 35" tires. The jeep will be mainly used as a DD with moderate offroad duty on the weekends. So, good ride quality is a must!

My thinking:

OME JK LT Suspension Lift from northridge4x4

17" Walker Evans Wheels (flat black with a silver ring or cast with a black ring) I'm pretty much sold on these wheels!

BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 Tire or Good Year Wrangler MT/R.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I attached a before image to help me with choosing the wheel style. (flat black or silver)

That setup sounds right for your needs.

I would say walker evans is a bit overkill for DD and moderate off road... but hey if you got the loot go for it

If I was spending $5K I would add Front lower controls arms to the lift and get the kit that includes adjustable track bars.

The LT kit comes with front and rear trackbars and you can substitute front lowers for $75 extra

When I first bought my 08 JK 2 dr I got the best 3 in Full Traction I could find at the time, 17 inch Pro Comp wheels, and 35x12.50 Pro Comp tires all for about 5 grand. I do some off roading, but mainly a lot of driving being. Army has be driving all over the place. My lift and tires haven't let me down yet.

i'm w/greenamphibious on the beadlocks being overkill. you prob won't need them if ur wheeling moderately. the money can be put in other places like gears (u have a sahara like me!) but the rest of your list sounds good. if ur using it as a DD you may also want to think about 33's to keep a little better MPG. good luck to you man! post pics when ur done!

The beadlocks are going to eat up a large chunk of your budget. Might want to rethink.
