I have to disagree with not getting the beadlocks, I think they are cheap insurance and will at some time pay for themselves. I think you are being smart.

If you go with 35's I would do the EVO C2 gussets. The beadlocks are expensive but great wheels. I think those wheels are just about the best looking wheels out there. I am more budget minded and want other goodies for the money. Bumpers, winch, gears, and programmer would win out over the high cost of real beadlocks. I air down to 12/14 psi and have never broke a bead. Hey it's only money!! I would go black... but I have black wrangler unlimited decals, black door locks, black antenna, and will probably black out my grill and hinges like my last JK.

Yeah, Its not going to be my DD forever. I wanna go for the good stuff now that way I have less to buy later.

BTW I purchased my OME LT kit today from David at northridge4x4!!!!

Hopefully, I can decide on which wheels and get them ordered tomorrow.

That is a good number ($5000) for what you want. For money savings, you could find a set of used wheels (Craigslist, EBAY). I found my wheels on Craigs. I took my rig to Moab for 5 hard days and ran everything I wanted without issues. Go for it!!!

After much deliberation I have decided on the 17" 4.50BS Walker Evans Wheels with the satin finish and black rings. (They can always be powder coated black later)

I know they are really expensive and probably over kill for my application, but I just can't seem to find any other wheels that I like that aren't on every other JK that I see. (suggestions?)

I'm also getting the 35x12.50x17 BFG KM2s

I think a set of Pro Comps with sim-beadrings would be perfect. You'll get the look and skip the super expense of WE's.

Gears, 35's, 3" FlexArm, cheap wheels. Cheap black wheels.

Beadlocks are great (I've got em) but at $700+ per tire and wheel you would be better off buying gears at around $1500. They are the best engine upgrade available (other than a hemi) especially if you have an auto. Your stats don't list what Jeep you have. I'd go stock wheels with spacers (maybe powdercoat the wheels) and put the money in the lift, tires, gears, and driveshafts if you have a 2 door. I also agree there are some great wheel deals if you look on craigslist and *********.
