Default 07 Rubicrawler installed....SWEEEET

Just recently installed a Rubicrawler into my 07 JK X. The 7.40:1 low range will be nice for trails like Red Cone in Colorado. With the dual shift set up I am able to run an additioal low rage is 2 hi, 4 hi and 4 lo. The install took about 8 hours total with hand tools, no compressor. The only struggle was pulling the extended shaft from the tranny with a slide hammer......it was on there. I have attached some pics if you would like to see it.

Very cool! I just have to know, what is the spark plug that you have mounted in the dash above the shifter for?

With the 2.84 1st gear and 4.10s, it'll place at 86:1 final crawl, not bad at all.

Get some 4.88s, then you can be at 102:1. PERFECT!

I agree, the rubicrawler drained my pocket book.....gears will have to be in the future.
