Default 08 jk-u re-gear?

I have an 08 jk-u automatic. I recently made the switch to 35's, and want to re-gear but I am on a beer budget. How technical is a re-gear. I am fairly mechanically inclined and have a shit ton of tools. Have any of you guys done this your self? If so, how big of a project was it?

Unless you've got some good training at doing this and have the tools necessary to measure the tolerances involved, you're best to have a shop do it. The cost of getting this wrong is the differential bombing on you.

When you get a shop to do it make Shure there good and know what there doing . I learned the hard way first shop did my gears wrong broke my e-locker and didn't tell me and had to get another shop to re-do all the work .
