May I ask what size tires you plan on running? When you get that high in lift, it's going to cost a lot of money..

Planning on 35's with factory flares. The lifts I've been looking at are under 1000.00 Very basic kits sway bar links, bump stop extenders, 4 coils an 4 shocks. Y short term goal is got it in the Air. Long term goal is 6" teraflex long arm and 37's

You don't need 4in of lift to cover 35s. An you won't get a good 4in lift kit for under 1k. I promise you.. Go out an get a 2.5in teraflex lift kit with bilsten 5100's. That will be all you need to run 35s. Also, don't forget to gusset your C's and possibly regear.

If your long term goal is to do a longarm, I'd go with a TF 2.5 and get adj tracbars frt and rear. You could reuse the trackbars with the longarm. The rest of the 2.5 kit could be sold when you get the longarm. You'd hate to buy all the components for a good 4in kit (more than $1000)only to lose a good amount of $$$$ when you went to a longarm. That's just me though. This is my third lift, shoulda did what I wanted in the first place.

This. Go buy a 2.5in lift kit. You will probably end up spending less money in the long run. Because one you really get over this much lift you end up buying more than just coils and shocks..

Eww.. Skyjacker.. >.< and that lift kit is going to ride like crap. At that lift you want LCA up front to adjust your caster on the front axel. I know that we keep saying the same thing but we are tryin to help you save time, money, and head ache.. Your not going to wt a good riding 4in lift with $1000.. Its just not going to happen..

I want to go 4" because it may take me a couple years before I can go to the long arms and I may want to go to 37" tires before that time that's the reason I'm wanting 4" and I don't want to cut up my factory flares I've been looking on teraflex's site they have a 4" suspension system and a. 4" lift kit Both come with 8 new flex arms what is the difference in the two other then about a grand And track bar bracket? If i do the adjustable track bars will I still need the track bar brackets?

The Skyjacker's cam bolts will not do you well. Look up some threads on the cam bolts. There's plenty of guys here running a quality 2.5" coil lift and 37"s. if you don't want to cut fenders, you can always add a 1-2.5" coil spacers on the coil lift and get longer shocks. With Adjustable trackbars, you won't need the brackets.

Don't get me wrong, Skyjacker has a great 6" suspension lift on my grandfather's F150 but it costed him a few grand for a nice riding one. Skyjacker's cheaper budget lifts are rough riders and not as used much as Teraflex, Rough Country, or the ones you'll find here.
