Default 1-3/4" Lift...shock extensions?

Would I need shock extensions or longer shocks with a 1-3/4" lift? I'm more than likely gonna be getting the Rough Country 1-3/4" lift, but it says nothing about extensions or longer shocks...I'm assuming it wouldn't hurt the stock (from a rubicon) shocks with just 1-3/4" of lift, just wanna make sure when I order it.

I just ordered the same lift, without new shocks. RC offers them as an option. I'm going to beat the stock shocks for a while. I've talked to others with the RC 1-3/4" lift with stock shocks and they are completely satisfied.

Yup, for that much lift I wouldn't get shock extensions. You'll get some extra clearance, and you'll be happy with the lift.

Yeah I kinda wanted to get the 2-1/2" RC lift with the 2.2 shocks, but I don't really need that much lift. The 1-3/4" will be good enough, especially with just the 32" tires...should make a big enough difference I think.

Thanks!

Absolutely. You'll gain some clearance underneath, your 32's will proportional and you probably won't experience any steering irregularities that are present with some of the 2.5 inches and over lifts.

See, it just gets better and better! That's what I was thinking, less "issues" than with the 2.5", and enough lift to make my tires look "right" instead of too small like they probably would with the 2.5". I can't wait, now I'm all excited.

How bout the brake lines? Would I need to do anything with those, like the relocation brackets or something? My only concern would be when the front sway bar is disconnected and at full flex.
