Default 1/4 turn and a thump??!!

So I put rubi jku springs and shocks on my '10 jk sport and now I get a thump when I turn the wheel about a 1/4 turn either way. I ended up with about an inch of lift.
Any ideas?

just one thump? did you check to make sure your track bar mounting bolts are tightend to torque spec? if not, your track bar could be shifting from one side to the other.

I haven't had the chance to get someone to turn while I looked. Only have about 30,000 miles on it. Have put maybe 1,000 since the spring swap.
It is just one thump. I can feel it in the steering wheel too.
Only disconnected track bar and sway bar to fit the longer springs in. We hand tightened everything. I'll go back and check everything this weekend to make sure it's tight.

Oh and i don't have a way of checking to be sure everything is tightened to spec.
What do I need? Any recommendations? Something relatively inexpensive.

Thanks folks

that's your problem right there. you need to use a foot pound torque wrench and tighten the bolts to 125-130 ft. lbs. this is factory spec and anything less will cause the track bar to move around and that WILL cause death wobble.
