I know I ask alot of questions guys, but I just like to do my research first. What Modifications, if any, are needed with a 1" body lift? Or is it simply "bolt on"? Do what to have to do any major changing of stuff since its my DD.

Thanks alot guys,

Calvin

I have the MORE 1in. On a 4dr auto , no mods necessary. On manuels the shifter boot needs to be trimmed. Good floor jack , several blocks of wood and some basic metric and standard tools, take you an hour to do hour and a half at most.

It was a simple bolt on. Like mkjeep said, wood blocks and a floor jack. Took me about an hour to do myself. As i recall the biggest pain was getting the washers off the bolts or something to that effect. I just remember sitting on the floor banging on something with a mallet wondering if it would ever come off.

I'm considering the MORE lift too.

Anyone who's done this in the garage have a quick hitlist of jack points? Or places to avoid?

Haven't climbed up under there yet, so it may be obvious. Just good advice is always appreciated.

Yeah, after the third or fourth one I was thinkin why the hell didn't they just include new washers I'd paid a buck a piece each just to not have to beat the old ones off, hell 2 bucks each even.

Funny you should mention the washer and the bolt deal! Kinda a pain in the A$$! Other than that an easy mod.

Now I remember the washer more clearly. After the second or third i figured out the trick. But, it's a no roll back trick. Strip the threads off the bolt. I did it with a pair of vice grips. A grinder would be key but I didn't have that. I held the head with one vice grip and use another vice grip to strip the threads. Man o man now I remember exactly how much I hated those bolts.
