Default 1" Lift in Front

I was reading on here one day about using JK Unlimited spings on the front of a 2dr Jk to attain a 1" lift. I for the life of me can't find that post. Does someone have part #'s or information regarding this? My JK sits perfectly for me but the addition of bumper and winch will change this, plus I didn't want to use spacers if possible. Nothing wrong with it, just my preference.

More than you ever wanted to know:

The shorter springs in the pic below are front 16's off a 4 dr Rubi with 25K miles. The longer ones are new 18's. Just an FYI:

I put those 18's on my 2 door, which had 14's stock, along with 1" TF spacers and got 2.25" lift total.

Why would you buy new longer factory springs? Were they much cheaper than aftermarket? What was the cause to go with this set up, rather than say, a 2" spacer up front with your existing spring?

Just curious here.

They were ~$80 for the pair, shipped (about 1/2 what OME's are, for example), and I bought the 1" spacers at a good price off this forum. I had gotten the 16's free, along with a set of 58's for the back which I am using (along with 1/2" TF spacers I really wanted for the retention dongle rather than lift). I thought the freebie fronts would be a higher number than they were or I probably wouldn't have fooled with it at all, but, as it is, I learned a little something and didn't go broke doing it.

I already had 2" spacers but the stock 2 dr springs were sagging with the weight of my winch and front bumper. I picked of the pair of 4 door takeoffs from one of the local 4x4 shops for about $40 and got my lift back.
