I have a 2013 JKU Rubicon with the 4.10s, personally, I would recommend the 4.56s, as the 4.10s are the bare minimum, especially with the 6spd manual(which I also have).

Whoa man, that's a lot of gear. I'm running 4.88 on a 2013 manual with 37s. If I did more highway driving I would have gone 4.56. I run 2700 rpm at 70 with 37s. Keep in mind that many 35s aren't really 35". Plus, they squat on the Jeep. My 35" Duratracs were closer to 33.5" when referencing the gear chart.

4.56s with a manual are perfect.

Have a rubicon with factory 4:10 and wouldn't change a thing. More than enough power with the penstar engine. Also have poison spyder front and rear bumpers with ace rails with the stock rubi rails and still fine.

I have a 2013 jkur 6 spd manual, 35" trail grapplers, 4.10s are fine until you either a climb elevation, jeep became a dog, getting passed up by civics flying by me as I had to drop to 4th.. pedal floored.. or drive against high winds frequently, which I did in SoCal through Palm Springs area, now with 4.88s I cruise on the hwy and around town and never have to strain the motor or put my foot in it, at 70 I'm at 2600 rpms or something. it's really not "too much" gear like people always say.. I have zero regrets. I rock crawl on weekends and daily drive my jeep. have full bumpers armor and winch.. plenty of room now for 37s if I decide too.. also did the superchips flashpaq and am happy with it besides it not letting me eliminate my tpms light completely, 20psi is lowest setting..

Some companies say that I have to change carrier in my front diff to put some gearing in. Some companies with same gears don't mention this. I have a Dana 30 out front

If you have 3:21's you have to change the carrier. 3:73's you're OK.
I have a 13 6spd man. Duratrac 35's which are actually more like 33.75", and 4:56 gears. I think it's almost perfect.
I really don't do more than 70 on the hwy, and at 70 I'm turning 2500 rpms. I go through the first 3 gears before I get through an intersection, and that's shifting at 2500 rpm. I'm averaging 17.5 mpg overall.

I have a 2012 manual trans with 35" nitto trail grapplers. I went with 4.56 gears and couldn't be happier. Plenty of power even in 6th gear. The only downfall is highway driving, going 65 in 6 th gear revs around 2500rpms. Ok for me because I don't use the highway much.
