Default 14 bolt vs sterling 10.5 vs dana 80 (rear)

I know the 80 is stronger than both the 14 bolt and sterling 10.5... but I am trying to decided between the 3. I know the 14 bolt and the sterling 10.5 would be more practical with my 3.6 V6. I would like to see your junk yard axle swaps and your thoughts on your set up.

Wow, what kind of wheeling do you do to need an 80? I do a lot on my 44 and 30 on 37's. Just can't imagine the need for an 80!

Its a piece of mind that you did all you could to prevent breaking.

id go 14 bolt rear and shave it. There pretty common and decent aftermarket. id say 14bs are slightly stronger than a sterling. For the front personally id go a ford 60 front. depending on tire size im sure you will want 5.38s. Id look at how you want to build them and see whats available im sure the d60 and 14b have more locker options, but that depends on what you want to run.. My ford 60 front i had to cut some housing, but if i recall a sterling front you have to cut a ton. I think 2climbig and abendx are running sterlings...Either way id try and get as wide as you can to help outboard...

Also i believe a 10.5 is metric lugs, the 14b has pinion support and drop out 3rd member...
