Default 15 inch wheel problems ?

I am getting ready to upgrade my tires (again) and am considering going from my stock 16 in wheels/tires to 15 inch wheels/tires (pro comp 97s and 35s), mainly because of the cost savings.

Are there any reasons I should or should not go with a 15 inch wheel/tire combo?

Is it all a matter of appearance and preference?

Thanks!!

I wouuld just measure for clearance on brake disc and any sensors on both front and back wheels. I can't check because I'm still waiting on mine to come in (I was told about two more weeks.

My question does not have to do with them fitting, so here is my question again....

Are there any reasons I should or should not go with a 15 inch wheel/tire combo?

Is it all a matter of appearance and preference?

In other words, what is the advantage of a larger wheel?

Sorry, the other posts threw me off the orignal question lol

The advantage of larger wheels is better cornering and some say they look better.
Other then those two things, IMO 15's are better for off-roading when aired down (more tire) and they protect the wheel better. The ride is softer on-road too.

I know Im going to order 15's with 35's very soon

These look really good, and should be around $1,000+- for everything...

Try Tirepackage . com and you'll find them really cheap for that combo.
Im probably going to get polished alloy wheels, Pro Comp 1069's or Mickey Thompson Classic II's
Ive price them out with BFG Muds for around $1300 for all 5
