Yeah I said screw it and went with 16's. I figured it wasnt worth the headache of worrying about buying 15's then them not fitting and being out of luck, i know 16's will fit. Just my two cents.

Default What brand/model wheels do/do not fit

Some one posted earlier that it is a "wheel to wheel thing".

Anyone that HAS had problems fitting 15" wheels, please post wheel make, model, dimensions and back spacing.

Anyone that HAS NOT had problems fitting 15" wheels, please do the same.

Maybe we can get a concensus on what brand and model wheels do and do not fit over the calipers(especially front ones)

That would be good, but there are some cases like with cragar soft 8s 15X8 4"bs, where i havnt had problems but other members have had rubbing. Its like cragar had to different batches of centers they were using for the same wheel.

I also am considering 15x10 steelies and 33/15.5-15 or 35/15.5-15 Swamper TSL/SXs
it was a rim problem not anything else.

15X10 cragar soft 8's
backspace is 4 inches
offset is -38.00mm

these did not clear at all. i even tried an angle grinder and still couldn't get clearance. had to use spacers to get clearance. they fit just fine on the back though.

Making such a list would be awsome. Alot of people would get less headaches.
I will be ordering 15's this month and will post my findings.

Wheel backspacing has NOTHING to do with whether or not the wheel will hit the caliper. That is dependant on how the wheel center is made. Backspacing only determines "where" the wheel will sit in the wheelwell. How far inside or outside.

Default offset?

I admit, I'm not an expert on wheel measurements.

What about the offset? Does this measurement have anything to due with how the wheel center is made to fit or not fit over our front calipers?

Default Aero 58 series wheels

Aero Wheels 58 series.

They apparently feature the largest drop center in their class and offer more brake caliper clearance in a 15 x 10 in. roll formed wheel.

Any one running these?
