Default 15" Wheels on JK

Reading alot of post where guys are successful with 15" wheels on JK. Looking at doing this and want to know as much as possible prior to doing.

From what I have read, 15" cragar soft 8's with 4" of BS is the way to go.

Has anyone run into problems doing this with new break pads?

I spoke with procomp because I read they made a 15" for the jk. Thats not true but they did point that I should test with new pads. He also pointed out that the tighter clearance could be a problem if I were to bend the wheel. I can't see that as an issue since there is only a 1/2" difference between 15" & 16".

I have 15 inch alloys with 4.75 BS and have no issues with any rubbing. The wheels are procomp 8069's.

Ok, so looking through a catalog I see the following procomp wheel listed under JK. See pic. I called procomp earlier and they said they do make one. Who to believe.

Default 15's on JK

We have 2 JK's, one 4dr & 2dr, both 2011's. We have 15x8 wheels, 33 tires & a 2 1/2 lift. One is running Ion Alloy 174's & the other has MB Wheels Razor's with no rubbing issues at all. They are a tight squeeze, but clear fine. They look great too!! I didn't like the look of the stock 18's that came on my Jeep.
