Default 15" wheels Which One's Work Which One's Dont

I'm wanting to go with some 15" rims simply cause tires are cheaper to buy. I have a 4 door Rubicon with a 4" lift. So which wheels will work and which wheels won't? And what's the back spacing? are they steel or alloy? and where did you get them?
Second option would be 16"s
Thank's.

Excellent write-up. answered several questions I had regarding the relationship between offset and backspace.

Default 15s

i'm running Unique 15's on my Jeep with the new Goodyear MTR/Kevlar. wheels are 15x8's with 3.75" of B.S. i air them down to 12lbs and they grab everything........ very good set up. the side wall flexes just enough. oh and the wheels never hit rock..... 15x8 is the way to.
