Question 16.5" Wheels?

I got a line on some of the military tires cheap and can not find any 16.5" wheels for the jk. Is there any? Is going with an adaptor to a different bolt pattern my only option.
Thanks for the Help,

check out the Eagle Alloys website. They do have some that size. I guess it would depend on the wheel as to if you needed an adapter.

how cheap? And where on line? I had a buddy who would sell me three TSL tires that were 36x13x16.5 for 200 bucks. He said the fourth one was messed up so I could get four tires for 450.
But I couldn't find any wheels that fit the JK that were 16.5. I found some wheels that were 16.5x8 with a bolt pattern of 5X4.5 and some wheel spacers that were 5x4.5 to 5x5. But the price was tires 450, wheels 200 spacers 200. shipping was around 50 so 450+50+200+200= 900 which wasn't a good deal after all...

Let us know, and please post a pic of the tires...

Default 16.5

ive seen 16.5" wheels on one ton trucks - with the 8 bolt pattern d60s.

My friend has a work truck with 16.5 - and new tires for it are way more expensive than 16's or 17s. I have seen a lot of HMMWV tires in 16.5 floating around that had "military" printed on the sidewall - for dirt cheap.

from what i have read the choices are have a heavy H1 wheel modified to the JK 5x5 bolt pattern, or, since they offer 16.5 wheels in 5x5.5 get some spacers 5x5 to 5x5.5 bolt pattern.

I been looking into this too. cheap 37's all over ebay. the only place I found online was rockcrawler-mrt dot com. They'll make any back space or bolt pattern to order. I think it was like 110 a wheel and beadlocks for 260 a wheel. they say they are for off road only.

Thanks for the responses. These surplus tires are showing up on craigslist with 50%-80% tread as low as $40 a tire. I am sure they are big, heavy and ride down the road badly but look like they would work great offroad. I was hoping to try them out without getting to much out of pocket. I will check out the rockcrawler wheels (thanks jeepnyak) and let you know if I find anything else out there.

i also saw where somebody had welded in a new center section into the humvee 2 piece beadlocks to get the right bolt pattern. I can't find it now. But here is a simular story I found on a welding forum.
