Default 16 inch wheels

Thinking about changing from 17 to 16 wheel/tire. Would this cause any issues? Brake clearance etc? I can save $800 by reducing the size. If no issues worth it to me.

No issues with stock brake caliper clearance. But, any plans for aftermarket big brake kits? Or aftermarket steering components? Those can have clearance issues with 16's. And any plans for going larger than 35" tires? Not much selection.

315/75/16. No issues I think there is close to a half inch between the wheel and the caliper.
