Default 16' wipers

Was wondering if anyone put 16" wipers on. I want to get the new edge wipers but the shortest they make them is 16". Any down fall to going bigger?

Only problem I see is potentially rubbing on the edges...but slap them on there and give them a try. If they don't work just take them off and return them.

16' wipers would be quite a site though...I assume you're referring to 16" wipers

Can they hurt anything if they rub on the paint? I wouldn't think so but I never assume anything

Alright I just got back from the auto parts store and got the 16' wipers. The new contour edge wiper blades. I had these type of wipers blades on my audi and LOVE them. Well I put the 16' blades on and they WORK great with out and paint rub. They hit the very tip of the glass but not the body.

They look good, but aren't they like $20 EACH? I've seen some new ones like that out now for about $20 for each one, not for me....the Anco's from Wal-mart for less than $5 each are fine with me.

There are a lot of variations of them out there now. I got mine for $15 each. I figured I would see how they work for offroad. They clear the mud and dort off right away.

I put 16" on mine right after I got it and they fit fine. Experience with the flat windshield has shown that no brands last very long. I just put new wipers on every time I do an oil change. Pretty cheap insurance for those dark, stormy nights.
