Default is a 16x10 too wide?

Looking at rims, looks like with 16's u get a choice of 10 or 8 is 10 to wide for say a 33" tire? Looks like in a 17" wheel I can get a 17x9. Any such thing as a 16x9 can't seem to find that option.

anyone running a 16x10?

It also helps to keep the bead seated when running with low tire pressure off-road if the rim is a bit narrower. That's the primary reason so many of us have opted for an 8" rim. That still didn't completely protect the rims from rock rash, but that just shows I love my Jeep enough to wheel it. LOL.
