I'm running 15's right now and love the look. The only thing that has me worried is if the synergy tie rod will fit when I decide to upgrade. I think 17's with a similar back spacing wouldn't have issues.

Smashboogie confirmed the synergy works with wheels of 3.75" bs or less.

I'm running 17s with my 35s because I read that any more than 9" of sidewall can be dangerous during evasive maneuvers at highway speed.

17s for sure..... more variety of tires to look at? true but the best ones are pretty common in 15s or 16s as well.

17's will ride a lot better on the street due to having a shorter sidewall.

I would not go with 15's. 16's are fine, but most tires are E rated. Which I like because they are durable. But they ride stiffer. For 17's you have C and E rated tires to choose from.

Default 17s

I ran 17s with 35s for years. Very happy with the look and ride. They really came in handy when I went to 37s. There is a lot of tire. Only regret is that I went 17x9. Would have preferred a wider wheel, but had no idea that one day I would be running 37s. And have lot's of choices with the 17s at all tire diameters.
