I'm flip flopping a little myself, but am pretty set on keeping my stock 18s for now and getting Toyo MTs(35x12.5) They are between $280-340 from what I've seen. I've debated selling the rims and tires, but the market seems flooded right now! I haven't really fallen in love with any rims yet either, so I'll go wait til the second set of tires in year and half or two.
BTW, I wanted 17s, but just so happened that I found a Sahara on the lot with everything I wanted when I was going to order back in November.

You'll may have to find a small Mom&Pop tire shop to install the bigger tires on the 18's.
Not many reputable tire dealers will install an 12.5 inch wide tire on the JK 18" OEM wheel. STS Tire & Auto centers have the "33X12.5X18 Toyo's" but the manager of one of the shops said they cant install the tire knowing the wheel is incompatible (issuance purposes).
Im sure they'll sell it to me without installing them but not sure if the warranty will be voided!

It's all in my signature line! 3" Teraflex. The Coops ran $300 a piece mounted/balanced/warranty/blah,blah a little more than Nitto Mud's and some other options but less than Toyo's and these are very quiet, as good as most AT's I have ran in the past, Pirellie, BFG's, much better than my last MTR's.
The 18" Sahara wheels look AWESOME with at least some 35"s on them. Stock they look too big with the puny Dueler tires but get som good meats on em and they come alive!

No worries, I understand, when I was trying to decide on tires/wheels/lift, I did not read either, just stared and tried to keep the drool from hitting my keyboard...!!! Good luck with yours, I would say keep your 18's! It gives it a stock but agressive look. Have had comments like that is a HUGE jeep, did not know they came from the factory that way. Hah! If only, with 4:88's or 5:13's to boot...!
