2 & 1/2 winch questions....
Having never had a winch before, I have 2 questions...
1. Should I always have the engine running to use it so as not to drain the battery? (I'm pretty sure this is yes, but thought I'd ask)
2. I clipped the cable hook to the D-ring. Should I crank the winch so there is tension, pr leave it slack.
2a. If I leave it slack, does it matter that the cable loosens a bit on the winch?
