Default 2" to 3" Lift ??????

To start....
I am a newbie to lifting a vehicle. I want to lift my 07 2dr JK about 2" to 3".
I don't wnat to have to modify anything on the drive train to do this. I want this lift mainly for looks... I do go mudding, but I'm not hardcore.
(90% pavement 10% mud)
I have been reading posts until my eyes bugged out.

I would like opinions.... I see kits with just spacers, I see kits with replacement springs , shocks , etc. I'm not looking to 'cheap out' and install something I'll want to replace in a year.

Please help.

If you want looks and a cheap way out,

I would run a fulltraction 2" BB.

its basically some spacers, Run 33" tires and be done with it.

You wont need driveline mods or anything else. If you want to upgrade down the road, you wont be out much money.

You can buy new shocks with this kit, or seperate.

I just recently purchased and installed the rusty's 2" coil kit which comes with the shocks. I am highly impressed with the results. I got nearly 3" of lift out of it. i also ordered the 3/4" spacer for the front since i wanted to get rid of the rake since the winch and bumper weigh a bit. the ride is damn near stock for the price of this kit a bb boost would be a waste of money. we did have to realign my steering afterwards but my jk came with 16" wheels and little tires and i added some 32's we did the same lift on my buddys and his came with the larger 17" wheels and his steering was dead on after the lift and needed no adjustment. it would be wise to go get an alignment after just to make sure. the rusty's kit for 330 bucks is one hell of a deal.

Default Black diamond - Superlift 2" Poly Lift

I installed the Black Diamond (made by Superlift) 2" Poly Lift, and am very happy with the results. I kept the stock coil isolators in place in the front (Black Diamond totally replaces the isolator) to help with the front rake. Very easy install having never done it before.

I had a 2" lift and now going to 3.5" lift so I can easily run 35's.

Guys with this mild lift, did you need to get a alignment or was it just
basic install and that's it...I also want to get a 2" lift only and interested...
My reason for 2" lift only is i want to get it into my garage so 2" is pretty
much the max i could go...Thanks for any info guys...

I also say do just a 2 inch lift. Anything more and you would be wise to modify your drive shafts
since you have a 2 door. You can go higher, but you will need to replace it eventually. i have herd of
2 door drivers with 3 inch lifts getting about 7k-14k miles before needing a new drive shaft. The full traction 2inch lift that Piginajeep posted is what i have and feel thats all you really need so its great for the money
