Default 2.5 Inch Lift with 37's

So I'm new to the forum. I've been looking around everywhere trying to find what 37 inch tires would look like on a 2.5 inch lift. Well, this past weekend, my friend offered to let me wear his wheels for a few hours (37x12.50x17 Goodyear MT/R Kevlar's on 17x9 Pro Comp 7069's in flat black). So we threw them on. Keep in mind I have a Rough Country 2.5 inch spacer lift, on a 2013 Wrangler Sport. Surprisingly, they fit. There was no rubbing with regular driving, even when turning hard. It was when slightly flexing that it rubbed. With chopped flares, stubby bumpers, and extended bump stops, this setup may very well work. Putting it into 4-wheel low proved that a re-gearing was needed, as in 1st gear it was noticeably faster than with the stock 31's (I'm running 3.73's). Overall, it looked mean, and I was sad to have to give them back.

Some flat fenders would really set off that all black look you going on there. Jeeps look so much better with the big tires in the wheel well compared to those that are lifted so high it looks like a roller skate.

37" MTRs with Rock Krawler 2.5" long arm set up. Had to trim the rear pinch seems a good deal but other than that no issues

Yup just some trimming and bump stops will set you up good for running 37's. Your rig looks really mean like that. We always prefer to fit the biggest tire in the wheel well with a minimum amount of lift.

Be sure to plan on truss and gussets for the front axle as well with 35"+ tires

I wish I could have kept them lol. I plan on running 35's under there, just to avoid the re-gearing and axle mods. It did look damn good, but 35's will almost be the same

You'll still want gussets for sure, and I'd recommend a truss too if you're gonna wheel it. Cheap insurance

I guess that would be cheaper than having to replace the entire axle lol. And yeah, I do plan on wheeling it. I'll look into it. Thanks for the input
