Default 2.5 lift component questions

Buying springs and shocks that are 2.5 lift. Is there anything I NEED immediately to run this? I will eventually get adjustable track bars ect. Just don't wanna get this on and have to remove for a part I don't have. Thanks guys

That depends on how nice of a ride you want. Most 2.5" lifts will give you more than that. You're axles won't be centered anymore so you'll probably want adjustable track bars and longer sway bar links at some point. Also, check your brakelines to see if they are long enough. Depending on the lift, some people find the ride is too flighty at 2.5" and eventually get adjustable lower control arms to increase the caster. You don't need any of these things right away but you may want them sooner than later. Check out the FAQ above on this topic.

Thanks. That answers everything. Ever since the app came out I just use it, which seems to not have all the functions. Or I just can't find them lol. Again thanks for the info

I just installed a 2.5" lift from Teraflex that included the rear brake line drop bracket, bumpstops and longer sway bar links and a rear trackbar bracket. I was waiting until I saw how it drove before I considered lower control arms. It's fine for me without the LCA's.

Front lower Adj control arms
Rear adj upper control arms
Plus whatever is in kit
