Default 2.5 lift options help!

Hey guys

Looking to put a lift on my 13 2dr jk sport. Wanting to go 2.5 (ish)

Problem is, there is so many options that I'm going crazy trying to figure out what is best for my budget. My budget is "around" $300.

Do I go coil lift? Like the rc shock/coil lift?

Or, just shocks with coil spacers

Or, coils with shock extensions

Or just a budget boost

And what about kits with brake line extension bracket and then some don't

Etc etc...,,

There's enough options to drive me crazy!

With around 300 bucks, what should I consider...

With only $300, you're better off saving that money till you get more of it.

Keep saving. Do it once and be done versus throwing cheap parts on your rig only to regret it 6 months down the road. Keep researching, every lift has been reviewed on this forum.

Save man...I slapped on a one of the "Budget Boosters" and it was a waste. Better save and find a solid, well reviewed, setup.

I had the same quandary last year...I wound up putting a zone 2"bb with their shocks and spent around that...BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER!....It rode terrible, wandered all over the road...I had it aligned and it was better but the first chance I got I put on a rock crawler 2.5" flex with 5100's and I couldn't be happier. SAVE YOUR MONEY!...if you jump into a lift that costs anywhere near there you WILL be disappointed. GUARANTEED....

Try & remember you get what you pay for ... i know its redundant but , There is a lot of cheap alternatives since this indusrty is so big . Think though, They are CHEAP Alternatives for a reason. I'm not saying go buy a $4000 dollar lift, But stick to a quality option for your purpose. That's what it comes down to, Get the best (not always the most expensive) but within your purpose .

The smartest thing I ever did was listen to the guys on here and not buy a budget boost. I spent $4xx on a teraflex coil lift with shock extensions, and a couple months after that I had enough saved for bilsteins.

That's the same thing I'm looking at doing. How was it with the shock extensions? It may be 3 or 4 months until I buy shocks.

I was in the same boat. I researched until my eyes bled. I eventually decided to go with the AEV 2.5" lift for my 2DR. Nothing but good reviews. I am about to order it this week. Can't wait to install it.
