Default 2.5" lift question

Hi all... I was set to order 2.5" skyjacker coil lift kit but noticed something. It seems like the 2.5" is for 4 door. That means, for 2 door, it'll be more, and according to Quardratec website, it'll be 3.5" lift for 2 door.

Is this true? (it's 400 lbs difference between 2 and 4 door) if that's the case, it seems like i'll be better of getting Full Traction 3" lift (for 2 door). Is my assessment correct?

any help would be appreciated. The reason i don't want to go to high is because i'll be running 33" tires (285/75/16) and have no plan on going bigger (35").

Thanks all

You might want to think about one of the 2-2.5 inch coil spacer kits. Not all kits are created equal. There are some (rubicon express for example) that have a shorter spacer in the rear than the front to level out the factory "rake". Decide if you like the nose down look or the level look and go from there. Adj. front and rear track bars aren't a bad idea either. Just my $.02, but this seems the best route for 33's.

edit. I see you are already planing to buy the track bars. Very smart move.

tks all...

I'm really looking to get a full coil kit, and not spacers (it gets better articulation). Rusty's offroad has a 2" coil kit, and i know a couple guys here use them. I'm just not sure about their quality on the long run.

I guess, my last hope is to wait for OME kit to come out, and hopefully they have a 2" coil lift for 2 dr. If everything else fails, then i'll go with RE BB.

What confuses me is that one of the member in this forum, i think its "windwalker", put on the 2.5" skyjacker kit with 33", and it looks fine. Maybe i should just stop thinking about it and go ahead with skyjacker....
