Default 2.5 Spring lift question.

I know, someone is going to roll your eyes since this is a repeated question. but searching I have found no definitive 100% answer. So, sorry in advance gang...

Looking at this eBay buy: Suspension Spring Lift 2007 13 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 5" 4DR and 3 5" 2dr | eBay
If I get it, what else would I need? Would I NEED new shocks for a daily driver with limited off road use "for now".?? Can I get away with adding the springs and going.?

Your current shocks aren't going to be long enough. As for what else you need, look at what a decent 2.5 lift kit comes with. Springs and shocks and nothing else is not something you want to do.

TonyJK, what type of spring are those on first post? You could pick up shock extensions if need to be.

I did the opposite, bought the shocks, realizing I needed the 2" springs

What size of tires are you planning on running? You gonna take this thing off road?

Just got 33's as in sig. I will take it off road, but not too much for now. Time for that is limited with the family. The off roading will be light to mild, mostly mud.

Look into the Rancho 2" sport kit. Perfect for 33's. Around 400 bucks with adjustable shocks. Try Amazon

Little over my budget right now. I can get 2.5 lifts for under $200

If your getting a 2.5 lift for under 200 run away! You get exactly what you pay for when it comes to lifts. I highly recommend you look into a leveling kit for 33"s. I have 34's with a 2.5 and the tires look to small.

Bump stop extensions. Extended sway bar links. Rear track bar bracket. Shock extensions or new shocks. Just buy a kit that includes the necessary components.
