Default 2.5 teraflex

i have a 2008 wrangler with a 2.5 teraflex bb on it. i would like to know if i keep the stock 17s on it if their will be any rubbing if i put 35s on it with out using spacers????????

The FAQ and dozens of thread discuss this topic. The TF 2.5" BB and coil lift kits are very popular.

That amount lift will eliminate vertical interference in most practical conditions, but the tire width can easily become a problem.

Many 35's are 12.5" wide and they will fit on the stock rims but they will rub without spacers.

thanks yea i put the mud terrains that come on the rubi on mine. rubing with those obviously but what size could i go up to with out rubbing and not using spacers...?

I am not sure if they make 35s with a section width in a 10.5", if they do there wont be any rubbing (but it may look too skinny). There have been people running ~11.22" section with with minimal rubbing on the sway bars & front air dam...Other than that you might have to bite the bullet and get wheel spacers if you are going to run the stock 17s or get aftermarket rims with the proper back spacing...

285/70/17 tires have been shown to work.....
