Default 2.5" Teraflex BB- Front Shock Question

The box I received my BB in was beat to crap when I received it and the bag containing the front shock extensions was ripped open and the contents in the bottom of the box. I didn't reaize that the two large washers and the four small washers for the front shocks were gone until I got to that part of the lift (I did the back first and I'm an idiot).

My question is this: I just re-used the large factory front washers when I put it all together and everything seems fine. Is there a difference in factory vs Tera washers, or do I need to get the washers from Teraflex and make sure everything is done correctly? I'm not too worried about the small washers as there weren't any on there to begin with.

Also- how much grease should I put in the rear swaybar extensions? Never greased anything up before so I need to know.

Thanks to all in advance. Everyone here is great and this whole site makes the noob questions I have easier to deal with!

Naw, if you were able to get everything on, you should be just fine.

Just fill it until you see it start to ooze out a bit.

Just installed this lift the other day. Thanks to WOL. Great write-up!! Here are two photographs of the washers. My only concern would be that the Tera washer recesses onto the extended shaft. Do your stock washers do this. If not I would contact Tera for the washers. Here take a look at the photographs.

This is what was in the bag. The large washers slide down on to the shaft of the extended bar(upside down in photo).

Here is a photograph of it installed.

Hope this helps.

No, the stock washers actually sit on top of the middle section of the extension. I assume that you mean the Tera washers should fit over the middle secton, correct? Is the washer so thick that it completely fills in the middle section or does the rubber piece slip partially over it?

Also, your "after" pic looks like a "before" pic. Where's the extension?

Thanks for the help!

I accidently kicked some of the hardware for my TeraFlex BB down the street and lost them. I found all the replacement hardware I needed at Lowes.

Make sure to get "Zinc Plated" Hardware!

Yes, you are correct. I edited the post. Sorry about that it was past my bedtime. Here is the correct photograph again.

The rubber grommets change places. Top one goes on the bottom(with a larger internal hole) and the bottom one gets turned upside down and placed down thru the top of the hole. Atleast this is how mine is installed.

Is the washer so thick that it completely fills in the middle section or does the rubber piece slip partially over it?
The washer has a standard thickness but you are correct in that the rubber piece slips down snug on the washer. This is the reason I replied I was thinking that your setup would be raised a half an inch or so because you internal washer hole is to small to recess properly. Is this the case?

I got a couple of the large washers today and installed them. Only took me a few minutes once I had the Jeep off the ground. Makes me feel better about the whole thing after I read that there was a difference in size/fit compared to the factory washers. I hate when something isn't 100% right, so I would have driven myself crazy if I left everything as is.

Thanks for the help, everyone!
