thanks, thats what i was thinking. I have the bump stops so i should be fine. It just seems like a simple mod to me that will give me exactly what im looking to gain for very cheap. I would like to maintain the same height or slightly higher than i have now with a heavy set of bumpers and possibly gain some stiffness to aid in stopping, etc. I currently dont have heavy bumpers so my questions were in regards to adding springs before the bumpers and if i would suffer any of the before mentioned issues.

I think that is the biggest complaint with my current lift is that when i have to brake hard the front end dips pretty bad and makes it a bit unstable. its not horrible but is worth the few dollars it would cost to swap springs
