2.5bb or 3 inch lift
I am looking at either a 2.5 BB or a 3 inch lift. Looking at the TF 2.5 BB, would it be worth getting it with upgraded shocks or does it not matter that much compared to the stock shocks. Also, what do you guys think about doing a 2.5 bb with a 1 inch body lift, or should I just stick with the 3 inch lift ?
I have the TF BB with shock adapters on my Rubi shocks and am very happy. I'm not even ever planning on changin gthe shocks.
im going to go with 33x12.5 R16 with crager 8s. Should i go with 16x7 or 16x8 ?
Will the 16x8 stick out of fender? I like the look of them sticking out, would the 1.5 spacers be overkill ?

Change the shocks...trust me...i run the 2.5 RC with 2.2 performance shocks and its all in the shocks...best shocks ive had since running bilsteins...There are some very good prices out there...do your research...

I'd go witht he 16x8's. Just a little wider, keep it on the bead a little better when your all aired down. and 16x8 is better for other tires if you decide to change someday.

It all depends what you want to do with it.
We're running 34's on stock rubi rims, Rough Country 2.5bb with shock extensions, and tera flex 1.25 spacers. Most of the time, the vehicules are fully loaded and have been on some really nasty terrain. So yes, the stock componentry is excellent when it comes to reliability.
If you want a nice stable truck, go with the 2.5 with extensions and a 1 inch body lift. Once, you start approaching 3 inches suspension lift, there are driveline problems if not now, then later on. And if you do decide to upgrade the bumpers, and so on then you might have to upgrade the shocks and eventually get stronger springs.
If all you're after is looks, with some light trailing, just go with what the wallet allows. Both Rough Country and Tera flex and a few others are excellent kits.
