II got MT classics 2, but besides all that what do I need to keep my power and MPG marginal?

I got an Auto with 3.73

I was thinking procal like I mentioned in a earlyerpost, will this help?

I also have a k&n air filter

I am curious about this as well. I have a 2" BB and am eyeing the 305/70R17 KM2s down the road.

I would also like some info and pics of this setup. 305/70R17 Goodyear MT/R and the TF 2.5 BB w shock adapters. Helpful info on MPGs w automatic Rubicon and if this would fill out the wheel wells enough so I would not regret getting 35s.

I have a 2011 with an AT and 3.73's and 305/65-17's which are basically a 33x12.50. Since winter has arrived I've been getting around 16 mpg on the highway. But my performance is marginal. A 305/70-17 is essentially a 34x12.50 tire. They will fit, but performance would be even worse than mine. I'd plan on regearing.

I run a 305/65R17 BFG MT KM2 on 17x9 rims with right at 4.5" backspacing.

I have a rubicon so a bit better gearing. With my auto, I get a rock solid 13 mpg in the city and about 17 on the hwy at 70mph.

The power is okay. The tires measure more of a 32.5" mounted under the jeep and were about 32.75"ish unmounted.

By comparison, a 285/70R17 was maybe 1/10th" taller.

The BIG difference was the lugs in a 305 was HUGE compared to the 285 and the tread voids were much larger too.

If I had more than a leveling kit, I'd have gone bigger. 3.73, IMO are okay up to a 33" tire, but it is truly comes down to what you can live with.

My auto is killer, but nice for the bumper to bumper traffic.
