Default 2.5BB and 315/75/R17

Hey, just bought my new Jeep last week!!! It's freakin' awesome...I purchased it in black --- but damn if I don't like every color out there. Every time I see the rescue green lifted I'm like "sh*t, I should have gotten rescue green". Then I see the silver and "damn, should have gotten silver...". It doesn't stop...every color looks freakin' awesome!!! I love this JEEP!!!

Anyway, I'm going to Off Road Evo pretty soon to put on the 2.5BB --- I'm currently looking for a deal on 35s...

My question is, those with the 2.5BB and 35s, is there anything else I need to do so that I don't rub? The guys over at Evo weren't too clear...

I just want to make sure that I have everythingI need from the get-go so that I don't run into any problems in the future....

TIA!

factory wheels?? if so, you might want to get wheel spacers

You'll likely rub while off road, so you may want to look into adding a 1" body lift to help with that.

As the previous poster said, a set of spacers are needed if you're running the factory wheels, but I think money will be better spent on just replacing the factory wheels with some Cragar Soft 8's, or an equivalent steel wheel.

at full stuff you will rub big time but if you went w/t a narrower tire 285 75 r 17

it won't be so bad

i have 315/70r17 on moabs w/t spacers & at full stuff wheels straight its ok but turned bye bye bush wackers

a longer bump stop would help but you'll get less articulation or a body lift

you could also trim the fender flare so the part that would touch will allow the tire to rotate

spacers are really only if you don't center your diffs afterwards

i have a set of rusty'r adj track bars and w/t out the spacers you sill just clear the sway bar links

What "car" are you talking about?? You're gonna hurt your jeep's feelings if you keep refering to her as a "car"

i did the rough country 2.5BB and then put on some 315/75R16s. they did rub a lot at full flex, but after i added a 1"BL they barely rub now. if you go with aftermarket wheels, make sure to get the right backspacing. with stock, you will need spacers. hope that helps!

I have the same set-up as axsys I cut some of the cheap plastic skid plate off. No rub. The body lift should take care of any issues for you.
