You really need to extend the shocks somehow by brackets or new shocks. Personally I would go ahead and get shocks. On a solid front axle vehicle they are the limiting factor for articulation. If you don't extend your shocks anymore you won't receive more travel. Take a look at our kit with the shocks and don't forget you do receive a forum discount.

If you get the shocks, you don't need the adapters. With either the TF or the RC.

Yes, to be fair, you should check out Teraflex as well. From what I've heard an equally good product. Don't have thier lift, but have thier rocksliders... excellent quality.

Well I was originally looking at teraflex, but then I found that I like the stance that rough country bb gives(definateley fixes the rake in the front). Although the teraflex kit comes w/ more acc. Needed I just like the stance rc gives....I'm still torn between the 2, but ill make my decision soon enough...thanks for all the info!!

I'm running a 2" bb on my Jeep with Rubi shocks & no extensions. It works fine for the road, but if you plan on goin off-road definitely get new shocks or extensions.

I ran a 1 3/4" kit first without any shocks or adapters and personally, I found it was HORRIBLE! It rode like a tank.

I upgraded to the RC 2.5" kit with extensions and it was night and day difference. I've since added the performance 2.2 shocks and love them.

I have a FT 2" BB with stock shocks because from what I heard is the 2" lift kit shocks are NOT any longer than originals. I haven't had any problems yet.
