Thanks for the help. Im not really thinking about bumpers. This is my driving machine for now so i dont want it to be to aggressive for the road...yet. Until i get another one im keeping this one civil. I was looking just to get the poly spacers. Is there much difference in the different brands other then name and price?

No there is not much difference you can't really go wrong with TF, RE, RC BB's It will depend on what you want to spend, the size of lift you want as well if you are willing to buy longer shocks with the BB or if you just are going to get shock extensions.

so why do i need the shock extenders? Im new to all of this but im learning quick. I was looking for a simple 2 inch lift but i want to be able to turn full with a 33 inch tire. Not a 12.50 but more around 10 i would say. A 285 size tire say. So do the spacers help with that or is that only taken care of with the wheel spacers?

I have the skyjacker 2" BB with the stock shocks. Have Spidertrac spacers to push out the stock BFG 255 tires. No problems with flex or rub. I think it is a good set up.

You'll need the shock adapters to compensate for the 2" lift "IF" you want to use your stock shocks.

Oh and BTW.....if you are going to a more aggressive tire like I did, I also went with different wheels with 4.5" of backspacing. This alleviated the need to get wheels spacers. Just a thought....

If you're going to lift it, you might as well do a 12.5" wide tire IMO. At that point, you'd need the spacers on the stock wheels. Keep in mind the spacers are $200, and you can buy steel wheels for as little as $50-60/each (so $250-300 for 5). This is currently what I'm trying to decide on... keeping the stockers or getting different wheels too.

Yes, you'll need the shock adapters. And if you get 33s that are narrow, there's a chance that you won't rub bad at all other than flexing and maybe at full turn. Meaning....if you just drive it around town you probably won't have to worry about it. All you can do is try it and see. Then if you need to you can get the spacers.

Default 33's and no lift

Just put 33's (Revo 2's 285/70/R17) on new ATX Artillary 17" rims on my 2010 Sahara 2dr - no lift - no rubbing - looks great. Also added the Bushwacker Pocket Fender flars - gives you 2" flare out

thanks for all the help and advice everyone. The next question is are the any members in the metro area of Minnesota that could recommend a shop to have the lift done at. Ive been told Burnsville Off Road is a good choice. I would do the lift myself but i think that it would be better to have a shop do it just to be on the safe side. Any other ideas
