Default 2 jks 1 problem

Ok guys, my parents came home yesterday with a 2014 jku sport a with 3.73s. I have owned my 2012 jk sport with 3.21s for 2 years this day. My dad offered to by me wheels and tires. I have been wanting to upgrade but money is a little tight as I just turned 18 and am paying for school. Like many people I want 37s. I am on 33s with about 3.5 inches of lift so I can run them with some cutting.

I know I'm going to have to do these things
Regear
Beef up the axles
Get a tire carrier
Aev procal

In order to save money should I take the jku 17s an run with spacers and 37s? (I do my own powder coating so they will be black)
Or should I get some 15 inch steel wheels and run those with tires of choice?

Anything I am missing? Trying to save as much money as possible but do it right because it's my dd.

I'd recommend 15's and 35's. 37's are great, but doesn't sound practical for you if money is tight.

It isn't necessarily tight I just can't drop 5 grand in it at once like some people. And I feel like 35s isn't worth the jump so in looking at keeping 33s or going to 37s

Not on a d-30 you will have to get your c's gussets and a trust or sleeves or something like that because the d-30 is crap! Also you have to go easy on the skinny pedal or else your RnP will break easier, Im going to 35's until I get a prorock,
.I say keep the 17's they look and can take a beating in rocks!

On the street you will be fine but not on the trails if you have a heavy foot

Yeah I'm going to gusset and sleeve and truss an fix anything else if needed. As for RnP I'm going 4.56 or 4.88 so I should be ok there

Yeah just be careful off roading. Because you can break the RnP or shafts

Put some cromoly shafts on the list for the rear if you are going to run 37's. I would not wait to break and replace them due to the fact they typically break at the splines and generally require pulling the diff to get the broken parts out. bent flanges are typical on a JKU with 37's as well.
