2" lift
I know there are tons of threads like this one, but that's the problem.....it's too hard to wade through all that info to find what I want. So bear with me.
I'm wanting to get a modest lift on my 2008 2 door jk. I don't do any hard core wheelin, just light trails and mountain driving. I have all stock gear now (17" wheels , 22" tires).
I would like to keep the feel I have now, but I have noticed most 2" lofts come with shocks. Can I use a bb lift without new susnsion, move up to 33" tires and achieve my goal, or should I go for a proper lift and look for one that gives a stock ride?

I agree with WOL. If your goal is just to fit 33's you are pretty much fine doing so with a stock set-up. This is mine when I got my 33's prior to upgrading to Procomp wheels. You might consider a Rubi spring/shock upgrade. I gained a little doing that prior to just lifting it.
