Default 2" lift full flex - brake line issue?

I've got a 2" coil spacer lift currently and am going to get some 2" extended shocks (running stock rubi shocks currently)

Does anyone know if there's enough slack in the brake lines and that black line (brake sensor ??) to tolerate full flex?

Thanks

Your issue won't be the amount of lift, but the amount of extension available from your shocks. Without knowing the shocks it is hard to say, but for most the lifts out there you should be fine.

Be proactive. $5 at the hardware store will get you the parts to make extension brackets. Quick and easy.

Have a link to a write up? I'm a bit of a mechanical idiot and need the Jeep Mods for Dummies version (with pictures)

I have a 3" with extended shocks and mine are stretched a little at full flex. Really need longer ones.

I have a 2" BB with procomp twintube shocks. I have no brake line issues at all and I'm always wheeling trails that will give the Jeep full flex. As long as you have extended bumpstops you will be absolutely okay with the 2"BB and slightly longer shocks for the lift.

i have a BDS budget boost, it's exactly 2". No brake line problems at all. But my shocks are exactly 2" longer. i would not go much longer than that. It has nothing to do with your bump stops.

I would assume that with the lift you are going with you will be fine up front. In the back you may want to either get or fab some brake line drop brackets, and also you can remove a clip from where the speed sensor lines mount to the upper control arm mount on the axle to get a bit more room for when you are flexing.

Here is a thread from a few days ago. The brackets are just a short piece of metal with a bolt/nut at both ends.
