Default 2 quick winch questions

two quick questions

1... i was thinking of making a winch cover... anyone ever make one?
is leather a bad idea?
2... what do you think about using red loctite to secure winch bolts?

i would think something like leather would wear really quickly sitting on the front. neoprene might be a better idea

I think leather would look good and it would keep the crud off.

I would use the blue loctite on those bolts.
Just my opinion.

ya i was thinking of that... i just threw leather out there because i know someone who works with it and i could get it free...

do regular material stores sell neoprene?
