2008 Sahara unlimited factory soft top on 2010 unlimited sport
 

Ok just looking for some confirmation.
im about to buy a new in box factory soft top from a 2008 Sahara unlimited for my 2010 unlimited.
the guy has two boxes one are the windows and a bigger box. As well as the actual support for the top. I'm 99% certain the 08 Sahara top will fit my 2010. My concern is hardware. I'm assuming the hardware should be included in these box or wrapped up in the supports correct? Is there a chance I'll need to buy other hardware? (See the picture below for what he has).thanks!

well this isn't going well

i did read that prior to 2010 the tops leaked a lot
starting to have seconds thoughts but this price is really hard to pass up

You should have 4 piece door surround + 4 wing nuts for the door surrounds, a tailgate bar, and 2 tailgate bar clips. In the box you should have the rear window and 2 side windows.. The 2008 top will fit all the way up to 2016 with the appropriate door surrounds.

NO, if everything is still in the box, everything will work together. the issue comes in when you want to use a 2011 up soft top with 2010 lower hardware and vice versa.

as far as you know those two boxes and the supports in the picture should have all the hardware etc?

If your vehicle came with a hard-top only, you'll need the brackets that go on your diagonal roll bar braces.
Dealers will need your vin # to make sure you get the right ones.
They are less than 40.00.

Not sure what price you found, but that top does not have the spring assist and iirc, the top tucks in the door channel. Those are not deal breakers, but depending on how often you will be putting the top up and down, it may be worth it to keep looking.

As for all the parts, I think reading above, they have it covered.
