2008 Viper Throttle body on a wrangler?
Hey so I've been told that a throttle body from a 2008 Dodge Viper will bolt right onto a jeep 3.8L and give a good boost in power. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this working before I go out and buy one. Thanks.

That and some Viper stickers and you'll get twice the benefit.:D :dontknow2:

Probably screw up stuff more than help.

Unless you get a throttle body relearn tool/programmer that can adjust the PCM, it's all for not.

Interesting concept. Anyone know about this?

I'd imagine since the JK is an electric throttle body it would vary software calibration a bit from the viper. If it was a cable driven throttle body and it bolted on, it'd be no big deal.
Pure electric throttle body is whats going to give you fuss, if the thing even bolts on.. |
Besides just having a bigger throtle body is not going to stuff more air down the same intake rails.

Sound cool... Why don't you try it and see. Report back. And take pictures so you can do a write-up. It's only money. (yeah i know...I don't have any either):naw:
