2008 Viper Throttle body on a wrangler?
 

Hey so I've been told that a throttle body from a 2008 Dodge Viper will bolt right onto a jeep 3.8L and give a good boost in power. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this working before I go out and buy one. Thanks.

Sounds doubtful, but if anyone knows or you find out anything I would like to know about it too.

That and some Viper stickers and you'll get twice the benefit.:D :thinking::dontknow2:

Probably screw up stuff more than help.

Unless you get a throttle body relearn tool/programmer that can adjust the PCM, it's all for not.

I'd imagine since the JK is an electric throttle body it would vary software calibration a bit from the viper. If it was a cable driven throttle body and it bolted on, it'd be no big deal.

Pure electric throttle body is whats going to give you fuss, if the thing even bolts on..

Besides just having a bigger throtle body is not going to stuff more air down the same intake rails.
