Default 2009 jeep wrangler electrical or computer issue?

Been having issues with my RHD Jeep Wrangler X, Having troubles with my 2009 wrangler X after driving a while I lose acceleration and it dies while driving and then after pulled over I try to start and it cranks but doesn’t start. Codes were p2096, P0158, and p0133. Cleared codes and started for like 5 seconds then died then would crank but wouldnt start. Then i unhook the battery for 10 minutes and it starts right up and runs good until it happens again usually after driving an hour dont know where to start to fix it, any advice?

The other guys are much more knowledgeable than me. I would start with the crank position sensor. Also what exactly are those codes?

I haven't looked up those codes but my initial guess is that it sounds fuel pump related.

Along those same lines, you may want to check out your trottle body. Those get dirty over time and may just need a good cleaning. Easy fix if that's the case.

Also be sure to check your battery connections are tight and clean. Many gremlins have been found due to poor/loose battery connections.

Just googled P2096

P2096 is the code for: Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 1 sensor 2.

Likely cause is needing to replace post cat O2 sensors. I had to replace those around 90k miles on my 2009.

P0158 trouble code definition Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2).

P0133: OBD-II Trouble Code: O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Yep your codes seem to be leaning towards O2 sensor replacements.

You think that 02 sensors would not make the engine run?
