Default 2011 with super/turbocharger or 2013?

Even though the signature shows a 2012 CRD I also have a 2011 Sahara in Canada which is bone stock. I chose the Sahara as I want to switch out many parts thus did not want to pay the extra.
I have a decision to make. Should I trade for a 2013 and get the 3.6L or should I pay $7k for the AEV supercharger or the Prodigy turbocharger? The loss on the trade makes it seem better to stick with my current Jeep but I will still have the 3.8L.
Original idea was swap to a Hemi but that is too expensive of an option now.

This build is to start with the turbo/supercharger, AEV heat reduction Hood and TF Big brake kit. I probably get all this for less than the cost to change. Next step is metalcloak GC and fenders, and upgrade of gears and axels.

Once I start there is no going back

About 10k miles. I live in Russia now so use it in the summer only. Use for camping mostly with the family. I want to join a club though to start enjoying. Have not decided yet. As I say the goal was to get a hemi thus not worry about the 3.8L but the cost is very high and after reading about the Prodigy build was considering that as an option. Now AEV has a supercharger system out for the 3.8 so I have two options vs the hemi.

For the 26k I have for a hemi I could do all to the 2011, or most for the 2013.

Now time to decide as this summer I start or trade.

Just do the turbo like you said its your toy now ? Who cares if its a hot rod , if that's what you want buy mustang for a 2ed toy and don't drop the money on a hemi. I would keep the 11 and put all that money you save in to mods!

Maybe you don;t have to do either one.

I have a 2010 with 4:88s, Superchips, and a SprintBooster. I test drove a 2012 2door with 4:10 gears and noticed very little,if any, difference in performance. My 2010 is an Unlimited on 35's and the vehicle I drove was a 2 door with stock tires. Try gears, programmer, and Sprintbooster.
