Default (: 2012 Center Console Help :)

So i thought it would be awesome to get the Tuffy Reat Half Security Console for my Jeep as it would offer a great place to keep the valuables and CB. And it seems to do that just perfect. Problem is I have a 6 Speed and the damn thing is about 2in too high and 2in to forward which makes shifting a bit of a contorted experience.

anybody have some other suggestions? I can't seem to find any other products out there. Vendors are possibly sitting out to see how the 2013 fitments are?

really sucks because it's a great product but since shifting is all time it can get very annoying.

This will not help you much with your CB (unless you are running a Cobra 75) but it is a good place to lock up your valueables. I put this in my 2011 so it should fit a 2012.

thanks... I've seen that and not a bad choice but I do have a uniden that probably would not fit in there. I would just mount it up somewhere but I know some jerk would tear up my top or bust a window just to grab a $50 cb.

so still racking my brain about this... I was thinking about just installing the front portion of the center console back (shift boot and cup holder half and leaving the back end open... but a) looks like crap and b) worried about damage to electronics on floor from rain or whatever. damn i wish i could learn how to fabricate! hummmmmmmm
