Default 2012 Exhaust Options

I have been thinking about going with an aftermarket muffler for my 2012, it sounds a little too much like my wifes Altima is the 2012 muffler different than the 07-11? Most of what I see only lists up to 2011... I was thinking maybe something like this? http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-pe...-wrangler.html I want something so I can hear the engine but not annoying to the neighborhood, will this be too loud?

Thanks,
Jon

Just take off the muffler but leave the resonator on its sound fairly decent

A few weeks ago i took of the stock muffler and left resonator on. Sounded ok but still a little ricey perhap, so i put it back on.

I felt tinkery last night and got the itch again so i took off the stock muffler AND the resonator... its friggin LOUD but sounds a lot better with resonator off vs just muffler IMO. I'm going to straight pipe it for a few days but will most likely throw a flowmaster 40 on there to calm it down a little. I would highly recommend removing the resonator if you throw an aftermarket on tho. I think would eliminate a lot of rice sound. Sounds OK with just muffler off, but a lot deeper sound with both off. Just really loud rattles the change in my cup holder if i jump on it lol

This system will sound great on the new JK, it is louder than stock but not over the top.
Since it is an axle-back it will work.

I have previous experiences with Borla. While a bit pricey I have always been impressed. Cat backs are great but you cant stop there. You need to replace the exhaust manifold with headers. Big difference between stock and going with the cat back. Even bigger difference when the headers are added. The difference in sound and performance is great.

I also really like the dual outlet look that borla has.

Took off stock muffler and resonator in place for a flow master 10 series. Actually not as loud as you might think. No drone and not overbearing on cruising speeds on the highway.

I'm stuck between the aFe MACH Force XP Exhaust Cat-Back "RB" and Dynomax Cat-Back w/ VT Muffler. Anyone have any thoughts on those two?

That sounds really good.. I should have waited and gotten that but I'm impatient and grabbed the 44 from autozone :p... Lost a half inch of ground clearance :/
